Job summary

TAI in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Back Business Development Manager - Engineering to drive growth in our engineering services. You will cultivate opportunities with defense, data centers, mission-critical, and life sciences facilities, coordinating with architects, developers, and clients across the capital region.

You will manage pursuit strategies, proposal coordination, and client presentations, while steering CRM data and strategic partnerships to ensure strong year-over-year revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in technical sales, preferably in A/E/C.
• Proven success in B2B sales and building client relationships.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet goals.
• Willing to travel locally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, qualify, track, and secure facility design and engineering opportunities across target sectors.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline by monitoring market activity and client investment plans.
• Engage with owners, developers, architects, contractors, and partners to position the firm for opportunities.
• Lead or support pursuit activities including capture planning, proposals, and client presentations.
• Maintain accurate opportunity data in CRM and pursuit tracking systems.
