Foot Locker is seeking a Senior Engineer – Customer Store Experience with deep Oracle Xstore POS expertise to design, build, and support scalable customer-facing store technology solutions.

The role focuses on Xstore POS enhancements, integrations, payments, loyalty, promotions, returns, and omnichannel experiences. This is a 100% remote position with a focus on global deployment considerations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Oracle Xstore POS development.
• Experience delivering customer-facing retail POS, Back Office, and payments.
• Proficient with RESTful services, data integration, and Java-based extensions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle Xstore POS and Back Office enhancements for loyalty and payments.
• Analyze requirements, create designs, estimates, and Java-based solutions using Xstore frameworks.
• Build and support integrations between Xstore and enterprise services via REST/XML/JSON.
• Collaborate with Product and QA to refine requirements and ensure successful deployments.
• Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and document resolutions.
