Job summary

Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to design, build, and support solutions across global merchandising technology platforms.

You will own key application areas, deliver high-quality solutions, and help steer technical direction in a dual legacy and modern environment. This remote role requires collaboration across onshore/offshore teams, delivering AI-driven enhancements, APIs, cloud-based services, and robust CI/CD practices to optimize performance and scalability for merchandising

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5–8 years of application development and support experience.
Experience with enterprise platforms, APIs, integration tech, and databases.
Experience across legacy and modern environments; cloud, CI/CD, and DevOps familiarity.
Familiarity with data-driven and AI-enabled solutions; collaboration in global teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications and services for merchandising capabilities.
Deliver enhancements, integrations, and defect resolution across platforms.
Contribute to AI/ML-driven features and AI-assisted development tools usage.
Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of solutions.
Participate in monitoring, support, and incident resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams in agile ceremonies.
