Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an experienced technical and project leader for design and implementation of substations from 4kV to 765kV. This role supports capital execution, leads the project team, reviews equipment specs, and ensures designs meet Dominion requirements.

You will coordinate stakeholder input, develop design requirements, provide guidance to engineers, and contribute to training. Candidates with 10+ years in utility substation engineering and PE license preferred are encouraged to

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience in utility substations.
• Thorough understanding of substation components and functions.
• Ability to read, interpret and modify substation drawings and plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead substation design and project execution from 4kV to 765kV.
• Review equipment specifications to ensure Dominion alignment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and transition design to implementation.
• Develop design requirements for equipment applications in substations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.
• Engage with manufacturers for equipment evaluation and site visits.
