Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Senior Engineer/Project Manager to join our dynamic Diagnostics Group. The qualified candidate will have relevant experience in design and an interest in assessing existing structures, with a focus on industrial or commercial structures.

The Senior Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for working with existing structures, emphasizing restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensic work. The engineer should have experience and interest in areas such as water infiltration, building envelope issues, and forensic engineering.

The candidate should possess high energy, be self-motivated, and capable of working within a strong team environment. They will serve clients on major projects across the United States and internationally. Technical expertise, proactivity, and assertiveness in meeting client and project needs are essential.

Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures (preferred)
2. 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience with demonstrated growth

4. Proactive communication skills with clients
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
6. Experience with Computer-Aided Drafting/Design (AutoCAD, Revit)
7. Knowledge of structural engineering software (SAP, ETABS, RAM Concept)
8. Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
9. Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
10. Willingness to travel on short notice
