Job summary

Global Data Systems seeks a Senior Engineer – Modern Work to own the full delivery lifecycle of Microsoft 365 and Modern Work engagements. You will lead technical workstreams, design solutions, plan migrations, and ensure operational handoff with minimal supervision.

You will mentor engineers, enforce engineering standards, and act as a senior escalation point for complex issues in identity, endpoint, security, and cloud. The role emphasizes technical depth over people management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field and seven+ years of hands-on engineering experience across Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies.
• Experience leading complex migrations and security-remediation engagements.
• Demonstrated automation experience using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, or comparable tooling.

Responsibilities

• Independently own complex technical projects and workstreams from discovery through acceptance.
• Lead customer onboarding and transition into managed operations.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across multiple systems, platforms, and vendors.
• Develop runbooks, designs, and customer-facing documentation.
• Coordinate with multiple internal teams to ensure service delivery.
