Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer for ISO Policy and Economic Analysis in Transmission. This role conducts economic and engineering analyses, prepares filings for ISO New England, and represents the company in regional forums. Hybrid schedule; travel required; salary range $129,450.00–$143,830.00.

The candidate will model the electricity system, analyze interconnection issues, and develop policy positions with stakeholders, contributing to the clean energy transition in New England.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• 5–8 years of related experience in transmission/energy analysis.
• PLEXOS experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering power flow, production cost, and probabilistic analyses for the New England system.
• Oversee consultants for technical analyses as needed.
• Provide SME input on transmission network and interconnection issues.
• Assess policy proposals and develop strategic positions.
• Prepare analytical products, reports, and filings for ISO-NE.
• Represent Eversource on NEPOOL committees and related forums.
• Travel monthly between MA/CT/NH and occasional out-of-area trips.
• Support emergency restoration activities as required.
