Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. is seeking an Engineer III to provide expert design leadership across MEP and architectural teams. You will mentor colleagues, coordinate with multidisciplinary groups, and deliver code-aligned documentation from concept through construction.

The role requires in-depth design knowledge, project coordination skills, and a strong ability to communicate technically with clients and contractors. This is an on-site position in Florida with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with 12 years of design and analysis experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer.
• Expert in the discipline and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline design delivery on moderate to large projects.
• Develop design concepts and perform analyses using industry software.
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines and suppliers.
• Review work for technical accuracy and QA/QC.
• Develop manhour budgets and schedules with the Project Manager.
• Mentor team members and participate in technical trainings.
