Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Sr Engineer – Maintenance Business Process Owner to lead the maintenance process and CMMS capabilities within Engineering Operations & Services. You will partner with global platform owners and site stakeholders to drive standardization and improvements across asset management, reliability, and related functions.

The role requires strong leadership, process governance, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable improvements in maintenance performance and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is required.
• Experience leading global or multi-site maintenance processes or enterprise product ownership is preferred.
• Knowledge of end-to-end maintenance management including work order lifecycle and data governance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance process strategy, operating model, standards, and long-term roadmap aligned with Engineering priorities.
• Serve as accountable BPO for Maintenance, facilitating governance and design decisions.
• Lead end-to-end design and standardization of maintenance work processes (work requests, work orders, planning, scheduling, execution, history).
• Own the business product prioritization for maintenance capabilities in the CMMS platform; define requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with platform owners and delivery teams on design, configuration, integrations, testing, and release readiness.
• Align Maintenance with Asset Management, Reliability, Calibration, MRO, and related functions across the organization.
• Provide governance for maintenance data activities across SAP EAM programs including migration and cutover.
• Build a global Maintenance community and engage site leadership for design decisions and knowledge sharing.
