Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manager Instrumentation and Maintenance to lead the Maintenance and Instrumentation teams within the Facilities & Engineering group. You will provide technical and administrative leadership for a large, diverse staff and ensure 24/7 reliability of plant operations.

The role requires strong engineering experience, proven people management, and a track record in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of engineering experience, or higher degrees with less experience.
• Minimum 2 years of direct people leadership or management experience.
• Experience in regulated biotech/pharma environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance and Instrumentation team and provide technical/administrative leadership.
• Develop long-term technical support strategies for ongoing operations.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and calibration programs meet cGMP and safety needs.
• Maintain 24/7 plant operations readiness and coordinate audits.
• Oversee budgeting and resource planning for maintenance.
