Job summary
Lucid Motors is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer, Charging Software Testing to support design, validation, and verification of high-voltage charging systems, onboard chargers, and EV components. You will design test plans, operate HV test equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance EV tech.
You will automate data logging and analysis using Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, CANape, and CANoe, while documenting results and improving test procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field required.
- 5+ years of experience in battery software testing or automotive embedded systems.
- Proficiency in Vector CANoe, CANape for testing and simulations.
- Experience with High Voltage battery software testing, PPE usage, and emergency procedures.
- Expertise in MATLAB Simulink family of tools for model-based software verification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct QA testing to verify system functionality, reliability, and compliance.
- Develop and execute test plans for HV powertrain components and onboard chargers.
- Operate and maintain high-voltage test equipment and power supplies.
- Perform validation and safety testing including electrical, thermal, and mechanical assessments.
- Design test benches and automate data logging and analysis.
