Job summary

Tabbed is seeking a Senior Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of core product features in a payments and POS environment. Reporting to the CTO, you will drive architectural decisions, ensure code quality, and model reliability in a high-sensitivity production system across locations, payments, and hospitality workflows.

You will collaborate with product, operations, and business teams, design scalable backend services, and mentor engineers while advancing observability and deployment practices

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of production software experience.
• Ability to own features end-to-end from concept to production.
• Strong TS/Node.js, REST and GraphQL experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals and system design expertise.
• Independent, proactive, and able to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from concept through deployment.
• Design and build scalable backend and integrations.
• Ensure maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Write clean, tested code and drive quality standards.
• Mentor teammates and participate in code reviews.
