Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Electric Drive Development Senior Associate Engineer – Test/Validation to inspect advanced drivetrain components and determine root causes of failures within the Technical Center in Mossville, IL.
You will perform detail motor/gen failure investigations, conduct electrical checks and analyze data while documenting findings in technical reports; relocation assistance is available and travel is minimal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accredited Engineering or Materials Science curriculum.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Ability to analyze and identify root causes of problems.
- Good decision making under complex scenarios.
- Clear communication of technical results and conclusions.
- Solid understanding of technical excellence and problem solving.
- Experience with product testing methods and validation.
