Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. IDES Division seeks a Senior Test & Validation Engineer – Electrification to lead validation across NPI and in-production projects. You will own validation planning, coordinate testing with internal and external labs, and ensure safe, reliable energy and powertrain solutions.

The role requires coordinating with system and subsystem teams, managing contractors and parts, and traveling up to 10% domestically. Located in Mossville, IL, onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accredited Engineering field (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Experience with product testing approaches, plans and execution.
• Ability to translate requirements into test plans and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and execute validation projects.
• Coordinate testing with internal and external labs and facilities.
• Maintain validation schedule and report progress to leadership.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure testing considerations are incorporated.
