Job summary

G2i Inc. is seeking a senior-level software engineer to evaluate AI coding agents like OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor. This is not writing production code but assessing model behavior and engineering judgment.

You will provide structured feedback on whether responses are sensible, whether explanations are useful, and how the interaction would feel to an experienced developer. Remote, worldwide, 10-20 hours per week, with hourly pay between $100 and $200.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal-level engineer (or equivalent experience).
• Strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Familiar with modern AI-assisted dev workflows.
• Able to evaluate code without executing it or reviewing every line.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).
• Comfortable giving direct, opinionated feedback.
• High bar for what good engineering looks like.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end-to-end.
• Assess usefulness, correctness at a high level, and engineering judgment.
• Provide clear, written feedback on strengths and issues.
• Help define what great looks like with AI tools.
• Record concise video explanations when required.
