Job summary

G2i Inc. is seeking a highly experienced software engineer (SR+/Staff/Principal) to evaluate AI coding agents like Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor. This is not traditional coding work; you will assess model judgment, usefulness of explanations, and engineering taste in real-world scenarios.

Work is contract-based, remote worldwide, 10-20 hours per week, with take-home evaluations and a Loom walkthrough. Start date is contingent on passing the take-home and an open seat in the project queue.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal-level engineer with strong TypeScript/JavaScript or Python experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2 or above) and ability to give clear feedback.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end-to-end.
• Judge usefulness, correctness at a high level, and engineering judgment.
