Job summary

BlockchainHQ is seeking a Senior/Staff or Principal-level engineer to evaluate AI coding agents. You will not write production code; you will assess how the model thinks and whether its responses show engineering judgment.

This is a remote, worldwide contract offering $100-$200/hour for 10-20 hours per week, with projects ranging from two weeks to several months. Strong English and experience with Codex, Claude Code or Cursor are required.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal-level engineer with equivalent experience.
• Strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted dev workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2 or above).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness, high-level correctness, and engineering judgment.
• Assess quality of explanations and reasoning, not just code.
• Provide clear, opinionated feedback in writing.
• Help define what great looks like with Cursor, Codex, Claude Code.
