Job summary

KP Aviation in the United States seeks a Manager of Projects – Engines to lead complex, multi-engine programs focused on CFM56-7B. You will plan, coordinate, and execute pre-purchase inspections, teardown activities, and module-level builds, driving on-time delivery and asset value.

You will interface with Product Line, Technical Records, Procurement, Sales, Quality, and third-party engine shops to optimize performance, risk, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years project management in commercial aviation.
• Experience with CFM56-7B engine projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage engine pre-purchase inspections and technical evaluations.
• Develop and manage engine work scopes for CFM56-7B modules.
• Oversee teardown, repair, and shop visit projects from start to close.
• Coordinate with engine shops, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and project margins to maximize asset value.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
