Job summary

CFM Materials in Grapevine, TX, seeks an Aircraft Engine Records Manager to drive documentation projects for CFM56 and LEAP engines, ensuring on-time completion.

You will review files, apply OEM manuals and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams under the Senior Manager of Technical Services.

An aviation maintenance background, A&P license, and MS Office proficiency are required; travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• College degree or HS diploma with 4+ years in maintenance or repair in aviation/aerospace.
• A&P License required and valid.
• Willing to obtain Six-Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/ASA-100 standards and general quality methods.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review engine files for compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
• Research, prepare, and complete engine technical reviews.
• Use OEM manuals and regulatory requirements to assess engine status.
• Perform daily engine file reviews following work instructions.
• Maintain operating plans/strategies for each program or engine.
• Ensure accuracy of documentation and coordinate with seller for corrections.
• Resolve issues in the technical approval process and traceability.
• Interface with clients and cross-functional teams to meet project needs.
• Support field work and shop visits as required.
• Assist in internal audits per approved plans.
