Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in West Palm Beach, FL seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead Gate 3 & 4 GTF MRO line. You will oversee a bargaining unit workforce responsible for final assembly, test, and completion of GTF engines, while meeting EH&S, quality, and financial goals.

The role requires a strong background in operations, leadership, and continuous improvement, with experience in AMO/MRO environments and knowledge of CORE/ACE/SixSigma.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 10+ years of experience in Operations Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Military, Aerospace or Aftermarket industry.
• 5+ years of personnel management experience, ideally within a bargaining unit / union workforce environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the operations team setting both near and long term operational objectives.
• Collaborate with support teams to establish work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resource availability, and other top priorities.
• Work proactively to address issues and engage the workforce in achieving engine induction / delivery / return goals.
• Effectively communicate cross functional requirements to ensure smooth process flow
• Hold employees accountable while maintaining a quality working relationship
• Ensure World Class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly.
• Champion CORE engagements to improve production, performance, and reduce overall operating cost.
