Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead Gate 3 & 4 GTF MRO at the West Palm Beach Engine Center. You will steer a bargaining unit workforce, oversee final assembly, test, and completion of GTF engines, and drive EH&S, quality, and financial goals with clear communication to leadership.

You will implement operational strategies, training plans, production scheduling, and continuous improvement, while aligning with CORE principles in a highly visible environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 10+ years of experience in Operations Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Military, Aerospace or Aftermarket industry; OR Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 5+ years of personnel management experience, ideally within a bargaining unit / union workforce environment.
• Degree in STEM field; Engineering, Supply Chain or Management preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management with a track record of delivering financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the operations team setting both near and long term operational objectives.
• Collaborate with support teams to establish work schedules based on customer requirements and resource availability.
• Address issues proactively and engage the workforce to achieve engine induction, delivery and return goals.
• Communicate cross functional requirements to ensure smooth process flow.
• Maintain safety culture and meet EH&S requirements promptly.
