Job summary

Intapp seeks an experienced Senior Engagement Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise cloud software implementations for premium clients in legal, financial, and professional services. You will manage multiple engagements, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery excellence while maintaining relationships with executive stakeholders.

Required are 8+ years in project/engagement management, deep delivery expertise, and outstanding communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a Project Manager or Engagement Manager role delivering enterprise cloud software implementations.
• 3+ years managing high-complexity, high-value engagements in legal/financial/professional services.
• Deep understanding of enterprise cloud software delivery and SaaS integration patterns.
• Ability to lead and influence across large, distributed teams without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (written and verbal).

• Track and analyze scope, schedule, and financial performance; identify risks and mitigations and manage change orders within authority.
• Navigate escalations with executive stakeholders and implement recovery plans to protect relationships and delivery outcomes.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives and identify opportunities to expand value and renewals.
• Champion delivery methodology and data quality standards; contribute to process improvement across engagements.
• Close out engagements with rigor, transitioning deliverables to operations and capturing lessons learned.

Senior Engagement Manager

The Senior Engagement Manager sits within the Intapp Services Team and leads end-to-end delivery of complex, high-value enterprise cloud software implementations for Intapp’s most sophisticated clients across the legal, financial, and professional services sectors. Senior Engagement Managers manage a portfolio of concurrent client engagements, serve as trusted advisors to client executive stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Intapp’s delivery methodology. This role is expected to model delivery excellence.

What You Will Do

• Lead delivery of complex, high-value enterprise client implementations, managing engagements across multiple clients concurrently with full accountability for budget, timelines, scope, and quality commitments on each.
• Coordinate and lead internal resources, third-party vendors, and partner organizations across complex global delivery models, making real-time resourcing and prioritization decisions to maintain delivery momentum.
• Define deliverables, roles, and responsibilities across project teams and, where applicable, provide coaching and day-to-day guidance to Engagement Managers on the account, supporting their professional development and delivery quality.
• Track and analyze project scope, schedule, and financial performance across engagements, identifying risks and variances early and driving agreement on mitigations; exercise independent judgment on commercial decisions including change orders and scope adjustments within delegated authority.
• Navigate escalations and complex client situations with executive-level stakeholders on both the client and Intapp sides, developing and executing recovery plans that protect relationships and delivery outcomes.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client executive stakeholders, proactively managing satisfaction and identifying opportunities to expand the value Intapp delivers; generate referenceable outcomes that support sales and renewals.
• Champion Intapp’s delivery methodology and data quality standards, and actively contribute to process improvement by identifying patterns across engagements and sharing recommendations with delivery leadership.
• Close out engagements with rigor, passing project deliverables and documentation to operations and capturing lessons learned to improve future delivery.

What You Will Need

• 8+ years’ proven experience in a Project Manager or Engagement Manager role delivering enterprise cloud software implementations, including at least 3 years managing high-complexity, high-value engagements in the legal, financial, or professional services sectors.
• Deep understanding of enterprise cloud software delivery, SaaS implementation patterns, and complex integrations; able to advise clients and internal teams on delivery approach and architecture tradeoffs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without direct authority across large, distributed, matrixed teams; models the delivery culture of the organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with large and diverse virtual matrixed teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and diffuse conflict without confrontation.
• Experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
