Job summary

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Sr. Subject Matter Expert for Portfolio Management Systems to lead implementations in a highly collaborative, client-facing role in Chicago.

You will design trading workflows, own P&L analysis across asset classes, and support end-to-end PMS implementations for institutional clients. You will work across front, middle, and back-office workflows, ensuring accurate settlements and reconciliations while resolving discrepancies with the General Ledger.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Portfolio Management Systems or middle office.
• Strong understanding of trading workflows, P&L, and/or portfolio accounting.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems across systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement trading and order workflows aligned to client strategies.
• Develop expertise in trade lifecycle functionality within Enfusion PMS capabilities (e.g., corporate actions, options, futures, position transfers).
• Own trade allocation and commission setups.
• Analyze and decompose P&L across asset classes, identifying key drivers and resolving discrepancies.
• Calculate and validate NMV, exposure, and monetized Greeks.
• Investigate and resolve PMS vs. General Ledger discrepancies.
• Support client implementations and serve as a trusted point of contact.
