TDLR is seeking an Enforcement Investigator III-Field to perform complex investigations across Austin and surrounding counties. The role involves interviewing witnesses, collecting evidence, and preparing detailed reports for prosecutors.

You will travel to conduct on-site investigations and testify in administrative hearings as required. The position requires strong investigative methods, report writing, and the ability to work under general supervision with some independent judgment.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from a standard high school or GED equivalent is required.
• A four-year college or university degree is preferred.
• Experience in investigations, inspections, enforcement, and/or administration of a governmental regulatory program is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to conduct investigations, inspections, and audits in the assigned area.

• Plan and conduct complex investigations of suspected violations.
• Interview complainants, witnesses, and respondents to elicit facts.
• Prepare detailed written reports of investigation in the approved format.
• Testify in administrative hearings before SOAH and assist prosecutors as needed.
