Job summary

Amazon AWS seeks a Senior Partner Solutions Architect for Energy & Utilities to accelerate cloud adoption through partners and customers. You will lead technical sales, design reference architectures, and drive grid modernization initiatives, with hands-on expectations in OT/IT convergence and DERMS/ADMS systems.

The role requires deep energy/utility domain knowledge, strong customer engagement skills, and ability to influence product roadmaps through partner feedback.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Drive top-of-funnel pipeline creation with energy and utilities partners through technical discovery, solution validation, and joint customer engagement.
• Accelerate partner solution adoption through technical enablement, architecture workshops, and POC engagements with AWS teams.
• Evangelize partner solutions for grid modernization, DERMS, ADMS, OMS, ETRM, asset performance management, and meter data management.
• Position AWS as the preferred cloud platform for energy & utilities solutions, demonstrating IoT, edge computing, data lakes, and AI/ML benefits.
• Develop executive relationships within partner organizations and act as trusted technical advisor.
• Deliver architectural guidance for OT/IT convergence and pre-sales engagements including reference architectures.
