Job summary

Energy Systems Group is seeking a Performance Engineer to join our Public Sector East team in New England or New York. Travel 25%–50% is required, including overnights. You will lead technical projects, analyze energy use, and develop concrete solutions for customers.

You will forecast energy reductions, create financial models, and support delivery teams to ensure high‑quality installations and measurable results for public sector clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET‑accredited program or equivalent.
3–8 years of construction or energy service experience.

Responsibilities

Conducts in-depth site surveys to identify inefficiencies and analyzes utility bills and financials.
Create technical plans and communications for internal teams, sub‑contractors and customers.
Perform energy savings calculations, life cycle cost analyses, and feasibility studies for recommendations.
Develop financial models and present proposals to customers.
Coordinate with Account Executive and Project Manager to ensure smooth installation and delivery.
