Job summary

POLITICO is seeking an energetic Account Executive to grow the Energy & Environment subscription business with senior executives in the energy sector. You will use our consultative sales approach to tailor POLITICO Pro offerings to each prospect, manage a robust pipeline, and collaborate across product and strategy teams to sharpen our energy product positioning.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of sales experience with new business focus.
SaaS or subscription services experience highly preferred.
Strong commercial skills and executive presence.
Familiarity with Gong and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
Interest in energy policy is a plus.

Responsibilities

Grow subscription business by conducting strategic evaluations and product demos for energy executives.
Position POLITICO Pro energy products using consultative sales methods.
Manage a 20–30 opportunity pipeline through full sales cycle and close deals.
Collaborate with Subscriptions product/strategy teams to translate market insights.
Attend energy events to build relationships and represent POLITICO Pro.
Deliver outstanding service and mentor junior teammates.
