Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Senior Energy Solutions Development Engineer to support project development across North America from multiple U.S. locations.

You will engage with public sector and commercial clients to craft technically and financially sound solutions, influencing stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams. The role requires 5+ years in energy solutions, strong HVAC knowledge, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the Energy Solutions business.
• 5+ years working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Professional Engineering license.
• CEM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Technical Audits and Solution Development – develop a investment grade audit of facilities and provide customer-focused solution.
• Technical Knowledge and Aptitude – understand HVAC systems and energy projects including electrification, heat pumps, geothermal, CHP, and solar PV/BESS.
• Communication and Proficiency with Sales – communicate to diverse audiences, prepare reports and proposals.
• Solution Development Process Adherence – work with internal teams, develop scopes and financial analyses, and follow Honeywell practices.
• Support Delivery Operations – assist post-contract engineering, design documents, and commissioning.
• Develop detailed saving calculations for proposed solutions.
