Job summary
Honeywell Technologies seeks a Senior Energy Solutions Development Engineer to support North America project development from Chicago, IL, or other specified locations. You will influence customers toward Honeywell solutions, provide technical and financial analyses, and guide cross-functional teams through pursuit strategy and proposals.
The role requires deep HVAC and energy systems expertise, strong communication, and the ability to develop new offerings.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in the Energy Solutions business.
- 5+ years working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Professional Engineering license.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform Technical Audits and Solution Development, including investment-grade audits and financial viability analyses.
- Lead development of projects with electrification, heat pumps, solar PV, and BESS; craft customer-focused solutions.
- Communicate effectively with all levels to support sales and proposals.
- Coordinate with internal teams and deliver scope of work and technical documentation.
