Job summary

Trane Technologies in the Western NY region is seeking a Sr. Project Developer to lead turnkey design-build and energy savings projects within Trane Technologies Energy Services.

You will work with internal teams and customers to develop scopes, cost estimates, and proposals, coordinating with Energy Engineers to quantify savings and ensure successful project delivery. The role requires a four-year degree and PM/ESCO experience, with proficiency in CAD tools and energy simulations.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering, Technical field or Business required.
• PM and Performance Contracting/ESCO experience required.
• Knowledge of building systems and energy engineering concepts.
• Ability to write HVAC system level sequences of operations and control requirements a plus.
• Proficiency with design software (Visio, AutoCAD) and energy simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC systems using Trane equipment and other leading HVAC systems; scope, concept development, engineering analysis, validation.
• Support Account Managers in developing budgets and RFQs with scope, plans, milestones, specs, and permitting requirements.
• Provide technical support in pursuit of Trane business on strategic opportunities.
• Manage design through construction documents and coordination with subcontractors.
• Validate and improve Design-Build Turnkey and ESPC processes.
• Ensure secured customers from development through project transition; assist acquisition and satisfaction efforts.
• Travel as required.
