Job summary

Deriva Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support profitable growth and financial planning for its services organization. You will help price, proposals, and contract reviews, and prepare financial analyses and executive presentations for leadership.

This role requires independent ownership, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to turn technical input into clear recommendations. Office-based with occasional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, financial analysis, commercial support, process improvement, or team coordination.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, associate's degree AND six (6) years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing using established templates and review assumptions with service managers as SMEs.
• Coordinate the proposal process from RFP review through pricing, leadership approval, and submission.
• Support commercial contract negotiations and facilitate reviews between clients, Legal, and leadership.
• Maintain monthly win/loss reporting and analyze pricing profitability and performance against plans.
• Prepare senior leadership presentations and translate priorities into actionable work plans.
