Job summary

Deriva Energy is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support profitability and financial planning for its services organization, covering field services, high-voltage services, gearbox services, and long-term service agreements for utility-scale energy assets. Commercial opportunities range from about $25,000 projects to long-term service agreements exceeding $10 million in revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, financial analysis, commercial support, process improvement, or team coordination.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, associate's degree AND six (6) years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing using established templates and validate assumptions with service managers.
• Coordinate the proposal process from RFP review to submission and align with leadership.
• Support annual budget development and analyze revenue, expenses, staffing, and labor-capacity assumptions.
• Prepare senior leadership and board presentations explaining pricing, margins, and risks.
