Deriva Energy seeks a Senior Business Analyst to support profitability growth and financial planning for its services organization. You will develop pricing, coordinate proposals and contract reviews, and prepare analyses for leadership.

Office options include Charlotte, NC; Canby, MN; Brookings, SD; or Tye, TX, with some flexibility for remote work. The role requires independent ownership, strong commercial judgment, and ability to turn technical input into clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, financial analysis, commercial support, process improvement, or team coordination
• In lieu of bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience
• Preferred: MBA or advanced degree and experience supporting proposals, contract negotiations, budgets, or pricing for project-based services

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing using templates and coordinate delivery plans with service managers
• Coordinate the proposal process from RFP to submission and manage deadlines
• Support annual budget development and analyze profitability, bids, and performance against plans
• Prepare leadership presentations and translate priorities into actionable work plans
