Job summary

Deriva Energy, a Brookfield Renewable U.S. portfolio company, seeks a Senior Business Analyst to drive profitable growth and financial planning for the services organization, covering field services, high-voltage, gearbox, and long-term service agreements for utility-scale assets.

You will develop pricing, coordinate proposals and contract reviews, and prepare financial analyses and executive presentations, turning leadership input into concrete recommendations with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, financial analysis, commercial support, process improvement, or team coordination.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, associate's degree AND six (6) years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop pricing using established templates and review assumptions with service managers.
• Evaluate labor, equipment, travel, subcontractor costs, overhead, and margin assumptions and adjust pricing accordingly.
• Research market conditions and competitor positioning to recommend pricing strategies that maximize profitability.
• Coordinate the proposal process from RFP review to submission and maintain proposal documents.
• Support contract negotiations and facilitate reviews between clients, Legal, and leadership.
• Prepare senior leadership presentations explaining pricing, margins, and execution risks.
