Job summary

Exelon Corporation in Kentucky seeks a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT initiatives. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and safety, guiding projects from business case to closeout, with budgets typically ranging up to multi-million dollars.

Role requires engineering or related degree and 4–7 years of PM experience, CAPM (or PMP) preferred, and proven leadership and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 4–7 years PM experience or HS diploma with 6–9 years PM experience.
• CAPM certification or CAPM within two years (PMP also acceptable).
• Proven track record of managing projects and delivering results.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team; strong judgment and time management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible overall project performance for projects across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT and initiatives (25%).
• Manage costs, schedule and scope; develop recovery plans to stay within budget (20%).
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate requirements (15%).
• Communicate with sponsor and stakeholders; prepare executive level presentations (10%).
• Maintain good relations between project team, managers, and interfacing organizations (10%).
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks (10%).
• Identify and obtain project team resources (5%).
• Clarify responsibilities of team members (5%).
