Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Senior Energy Services Project Developer in North America to lead complex energy, infrastructure, and facility modernization opportunities from qualification through contract execution. You will coordinate with engineering, design-build, estimating, operations, M&V, and sales teams while aligning with customer objectives and outcomes.

Role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience in engineering, energy services, or similar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, energy services, construction, facilities management, building automation, controls, consulting, project management, infrastructure development, capital projects, or similar.
• Strong project leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Business and financial aptitude with the ability to evaluate project value and customer outcomes.
• Certifications such as CEM, PMP, PE, DBIA, or LEED AP are valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex energy, infrastructure, and facility modernization opportunities from qualification through contract execution.
• Coordinate project development activities across engineering, design-build, estimating, operations, M&V, sales, and customer stakeholders while maintaining schedules and quality.
• Develop integrated solutions with engineers, designers, and operations teams to meet customer objectives and project requirements.
• Drive customer alignment by facilitating workshops and planning discussions with stakeholders to understand needs and outcomes.
• Develop business cases, lifecycle cost analyses, project valuations, and funding strategies to support customer investment decisions.
