Job summary

DNV Energy Systems North America seeks a Principal Project Manager with deep technical and commercial expertise in energy technologies and/or project financing for our M&A Advisory Services. The successful candidate will combine project delivery leadership with account growth and team development.

You will lead the most complex, high-value engagements, serving as a trusted advisor on critical decisions and a senior escalation point for customers and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university in a relevant field.
• Typically 10+ years of applicable technical advisory, commercial leadership, and complex project management experience in energy infrastructure.
• Proven success leading the execution of large, complex, and time-sensitive due diligence engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the most complex, high-value M&A engagements and act as the senior escalation point for technical and commercial decisions.
• Provide senior-level project management and technical advisory services across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor SPMs/PMs/APMs and develop repeatable delivery methodologies and tools.
• Develop winning proposals and translate client needs into scalable workplans.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to ~15% of the time.
