DNV Energy Systems North America seeks a Principal Project Manager with deep technical and commercial expertise in energy technologies and/or project financing for our M&A Advisory Services. You will lead complex, high-value due diligence engagements and serve as a trusted advisor on critical decisions, growing key customer relationships.

The role offers a dynamic hybrid schedule across multiple offices in North America, with opportunities to mentor staff and translate experience into scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, science, finance, or related).
• 10+ years of technical advisory and complex project management experience in energy sectors in North America.
• Knowledge of energy project lifecycle including contracts, financial modeling, and technology.
• Proven ability to lead large, time-sensitive due diligence engagements.
• Experience mentoring PMs and leading proposals.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex due diligence engagements across multiple technologies.
• Provide senior technical and commercial judgment on critical decisions.
• Coordinate internal specialists and ensure quality review of analyses.
• Develop and mentor SPMs/PMs/APMs.
• Translate workflows into repeatable methods and templates.
• Drive client proposals and engagement strategies.
• Support priority customers through transaction execution and closing.
• Adhere to DNV quality management and develop new tools and offerings.
