Job summary

CodeGreen in New York City seeks a Senior Energy Engineer to join the Sustainability team. You will lead energy audits, prepare reports, review junior staff work, and engage clients to deliver energy-saving solutions.

The role requires 6+ years of experience in energy engineering, building science, and strong Excel modeling skills. You will support LEED/ULEB projects and coordinate with energy modelers in a dynamic, benefit-rich environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in energy engineering or building science.
• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred; related building science fields may be considered with coursework.
• Intermediate/advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform energy audits and produce written reports for review by senior engineers.
• Review work by junior team members and provide guidance.
• Lead client meetings and manage communications for large multi-building engagements.
• Develop and improve complex spreadsheet models and calculators for energy analysis.
• Coordinate with energy modelers on advanced measures and project workflows.
