Jefferies is seeking a data-driven researcher to build the next generation of Power & Utilities equity research. The role intersects energy analytics, data science, AI, and fundamental investing, delivering fast, differentiated investment insights from large energy datasets in a high‑impact team.

You will develop tools that transform raw information into concise, investable conclusions, across power markets, data centers, clean energy, and energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience building data-driven equity research tools and AI workflows.
• Experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets related to power markets and energy infrastructure.
• Strong capability to translate complex data into clear investment implications.

Responsibilities

• Build proprietary datasets, analytics, dashboards, AI workflows, and automation tools.
• Combine data from market, regulatory, operational, industrial, geospatial, and alternative data sources.
• Apply data science and AI to accelerate research and identify insights.
• Automate collection, organization, analysis, and synthesis of large information volumes.
• Publish concise conclusions and research.
