Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics).
• 4–7 years of relevant experience developing hypotheses, applying ML algorithms, and analyzing multi-terabyte datasets.
• Strong knowledge in at least two areas: ML, AI, statistical modeling, data mining, information retrieval, or data visualization.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying predictive analytics projects using Python, R, or Scala; experience with Unix-based OS.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models to improve customer experience, performance, and safety practices.
• Apply advanced analytics techniques using Python, R, Scala, Spark, and Hadoop frameworks.
• Access and analyze data from multiple company systems of record; support strategic plans.
• Enrich data warehouses; build and maintain high-performance computing systems.
• Provide analytics support to multiple business units and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn data-intensive problems into data science projects.
