Job summary

State of South Carolina in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Senior User Support Technician to deliver advanced installation, maintenance and troubleshooting for enterprise endpoints and software. You will guide junior staff, manage device configurations with Intune and Autopilot, and support classroom technology across campus.

The role requires strong customer service, problem-solving, and collaboration with faculty and staff to ensure secure and reliable IT services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience installing and supporting hardware and software.
Advanced knowledge of PC hardware, software and network connections.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced installation, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and problem resolution for enterprise applications and endpoints.
Serve as senior technical resource for complex endpoint, OS, identity, networking, printing and classroom technology issues.
Develop technical standards, improve support processes and implement technology initiatives.
Mentor and assist other user support technicians; manage data protection and security procedures.
Collaborate with campus stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology services.
