Job summary

Vermeer Heartland is seeking a PC Security & Lifecycle Support Specialist to safeguard endpoints and manage PC deployment across a distributed enterprise. Hybrid role, within one hour drive of a VHL location, reporting to IT leadership.

You will implement security measures, manage imaging and deployment, and provide ITIL-aligned incident and change management. Strong Windows/Mac security experience required with remote support proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in PC security, endpoint management, and tech support.
• ITIL Foundation understanding.
• Proven track record securing Windows and Mac endpoints.
• Strong deployment and remote support skills.
• Experience with zero-trust or modern endpoint management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain endpoint security strategies and baselines.
• Deploy and manage endpoint protection, encryption, and DLP tools.
• Perform vulnerability scans and remediation on endpoints.
• Develop PC build images and automated deployment processes.
• Coordinate PC lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
• Provide Tier 1–3 end-user support and follow ITIL practices.
• Support remote environments and train teams on best practices.
