Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Endpoint Security Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Security Engineering team.

You will design, deploy, maintain, and upgrade endpoint security capabilities across Linux and Windows hosted mission systems, in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment, with the goal of ensuring robust protection against external threats. Responsibilities include managing Trellix EPO consoles, integrating mission servers with the management console, deploying updates, and improving scan policies.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Trellix EPO and Trellix Endpoint Protection.
• Experience with Linux and Windows systems.
• Ability to partner with mission teams to troubleshoot endpoint security integration.
• Experience with incident detection, response, and forensics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade central management consoles (Trellix EPO) across networks.
• Integrate mission servers (Linux/Windows) with the management console.
• Deploy Trellix Endpoint Threat Protection updates and policies.
• Troubleshoot integration issues with mission teams.
• Automate performance improvements of endpoint security in hybrid cloud/on-prem.
• Integrate endpoint security findings with external tools like Splunk or AppDynamics.
• Investigate malware findings on mission servers.
