Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Systems Engineer in Mountain View for a full-time opportunity. The role will be based in the office five days a week and focuses on resolving escalations, driving root cause analysis, and improving reliability of endpoint and infrastructure environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Okta, MDM tooling, AD, M365, and remote desktop technologies to support the employee experience across our technology stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Okta experience.
• 7+ years of experience with MDM tools.
• 7+ years of experience with Active Directory, M365 and Remote Desktop tools.

Responsibilities

• Endpoint & device management including enrolment, configuration, patching and policy enforcement via MDM.
• Identity & access management: Okta SSO, MFA policies, lifecycle management and application assignments.
• Network & connectivity: VPN issues, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewall rules; collaborate with security teams.
• Collaboration & productivity tools: manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing.
• Security & compliance: endpoint security principles, patch compliance, audit requirements.
• Escalation handling: bridge Level 1 service desk and technology service owners; document solutions and create runbooks.
