Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an IT Staff Engineer II for Endpoint Engineering focused on Azure Virtual Desktop and modern end-user computing. You will engineer, support, and optimize secure endpoint and VDI solutions using AVD, Nerdio, Intune, MECM, AD, Entra ID, and Group Policy.

You will lead complex projects, mentor others, support audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while escalating architecture decisions to leadership as needed.

Qualifications

7+ years of related experience in Endpoint Engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Advanced hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop including host pools and session hosts.
Experience with Nerdio, Intune, MECM/SCCM, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Group Policy.

Responsibilities

Lead complex Endpoint Engineering and AVD initiatives from design to deployment and operations.
Administer and optimize AVD environments including host pools, images, and FSLogix profiles.
Leverage Nerdio, Intune, MECM/SCCM, AD Entra ID and Group Policy for endpoint management.
Improve reliability, security, automation, monitoring, and runbooks for endpoint services.
Mentor engineers and provide Tier 3/4 escalation support for complex issues.
