Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an experienced Endpoint Management Specialist to oversee end-user computing environments, including ConfigMgr, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop. The role focuses on safe, compliant endpoint operations across the enterprise in a dynamic IT landscape.

Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining endpoints, managing AVD fleets, packaging applications, and ensuring timely patch updates. Strong scripting and collaboration with security and IT teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing enterprise-scale endpoint environments.
• Expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/ConfigMgr) and Microsoft Intune.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) administration.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Batch) for automation.
• Deep knowledge of patch management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance.
• Experience with third-party patching tools integrated with ConfigMgr/Intune.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Endpoint Lifecycle Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoints using ConfigMgr and Intune.
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): Manage NYPA's AVD fleet via ConfigMgr and Intune.
• Application Packaging & Deployment: Develop, test, and deploy packages; automate installations and updates.
• Patch Management & Compliance: Ensure timely OS and app updates; monitor compliance and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Policy Enforcement: Implement device compliance policies and security baselines with Intune/ConfigMgr.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Generate reports on endpoint health, software inventory, and compliance.
• Collaboration & Support: Work with cybersecurity, infra, and service desk teams.
