Job summary

CA CI is seeking an AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) Engineer to design, configure and maintain a large enterprise VDI environment. This role will be the SME for performance issues and will require system design, integration and automation experience.

Must be well versed in Network, storage, Azure AD and Intune. The ideal candidate will have proven VDI design/implementation experience in a large organization, with strong communication and teamwork skills, and a passion for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD eligibility.
• DoD/DHS clearance eligibility is required.
• Experience with Azure, AD, Intune, FSLogix and VDI.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design VDI with Tier 3/4 support for issue resolution.
• Guide optimization of desktops for platform interoperability.
• Provide endpoint support and trouble resolution for VDI tasks.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of VDI technologies and enterprise deployments.
• Operate across multiple production environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Apply technical expertise and advise on buy/matter decisions.
• Conduct trade studies and make solution recommendations.
