Job summary

DLA Careers in Huntsville, AL seeks an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/CUSTSPT) to support end-user computing and hardware deployment for the Defense Logistics Agency. The role covers configuration, testing, repair of devices, and Tier 2 hardware problem resolution across CONUS sites.

The successful candidate will manage deployments, evaluate new hardware, and provide expert advice on upgrades and integration within the EUC environment.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex problems involving IT hardware.
• Recommends purchases and advises on upgrade/integration strategy.
• Manages projects involving deployment of new hardware to customers.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized IT support for end-user devices.
• Configures, deploys, tests and repairs hardware (CPUs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices).
• Provides multi-media and end-user hardware support to DLA organizations within CONUS AoR.
• Researches and evaluates hardware for EUC environment.
