Job summary

RGNext is seeking a Computer Support Specialist SR in Huntsville, AL to install, configure and troubleshoot end user and network devices, and to deploy via MECM and PXE. The role emphasizes security and DoD compliance, including STIG remediation and account management.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience, 5+ years in the field, and DoD 8570.01 baseline certifications. Flexibility for occasional non-duty hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of directly related IT experience.
• Security+, CySA+, GICSP or similar DoD baseline certification for IAT Level II required.
• CE/Linux+, Server+ or similar DoD baseline cert required within 3 months.
• Ability to be self-organized and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Windows 10/11 and MS Office.
• Experience fixing STIG settings on end-user devices.
• PowerShell or VBS scripting a plus.
• U.S. government clearance required; U.S. citizen.
• Flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot end user and network devices.
• Deploy and configure devices via MECM and PXE deployments.
• Provide touch labor services including installation, troubleshooting, software, security and patches.
• Apply knowledge of Cyber Security concepts to secure enclave systems.
• Process accounts including password resets and access management.
